Showcase: Herald of Tzeentch

Heya, it's been a while since you saw the charming smile of this fella but he's finished now!

I really love this model. There's so much fun stuff going on. I whilst paining tzeentch models the mind starts to wander and I start thinking what might be the deal with this guy. I love the way he holds the book in front of his face, endlessly amused of fascinated.

Maybe he's babbling out magic spells constantly while endlessly wandering around a daemon world, brainlessly babbling away, causing all kinds of mayhem with the spells. In the book the soul of a secretive magician is cought, the book was once his and now he's got to witness how all his super secret creations are just read out loudly all the time, wasting them on the world.

The eye on the book is supposed to be opening from between the lines. Didn't get the shading quite right on that one. Still, I like the way it turned out.

I'm currently working on a bunch more Daemons for this army so stay tuned and of course I hope that you're feeling all Christmassy already. ;)

Don't forget that any WW2-themed painting/modelling project commissioned during all of December is -20% off!
