Here are some nice WW2 field fortifications with a slight urban theme by
Baueda Wargames. I painted these straight out of the box (well, I cleaned them). These are all one-piece resin casts. Three large ones (which can be paired up for larger all-around ruins and one smaller one. These are sized to fit Flames of War bases (of course), but they work equally well for single-based 15mm figures. I can't help but think that the sandbags look a tad large, but that's no real issue.
I tried to go for realistic looking mortar between the bricks for the first time using white putty. Painting those actually was rather fast, and was equally fun playing around with weathering, all kindsa of dust looks and so on.
For a very short review: These are good and Baueda got a pretty nice variety on fortifications and such. Well worth checking out.
P.S.: This is the preview of a whole bunch of posts about a WW2 Normandy 1944 project, so stay tuned!
