Showcase: 15mm Goldfinger Models Normandy Terrain

Heyhey, today I'd like to show you some terran pieces I've had lying around for a few years, but I just recently got them into play-able shape - resin buildings for Northern France 1944 in 15mm.

A few years ago and friend and I planned to play the Kampfgruppe von Luck 'pint-sized' campaign for Chain of Command. This campaign depicts Kampfgruppe von Luck's counter-attacks against bridges across Orne river which had beem camptured by British paratroopers along with the Normandy landings.

This requires a bunch of buildings, and French company Goldfinger Models came suggested to me. They've been making very pretty resin buildings for many years. They aren't extremely cheap, but the quality speaks for itself. There were no air bubbles, crisp casts, nothing was bent - all in perfect order.

Multi-level buildings come with basic interior details (well, floors and some texture on the walls). The most important thing though being that they can be taken apart and you can put figures inside. Which is useful for skirmishing.

What I like especially is the piles of rubble, which are either L-shaped or come with one straight side, so you can place them right against a ruined building's wall.

While I was at it I also ordered some 28mm benches and ladders and a bunch of 15mm walls and a lovely limo. Because 15mm civilan cars to fit the 1940s aren't too easy to come by anyway.

I hope that I can present you with a nice photo of these pieces on a table at some point soon, but for now we'll make do with these pictures. Hope you like them!
