Showcase: Eldrad Ulthran

 

Heyhey, just a quick one, just one figure, but a proper classic and a celeb. He's the king of all of the Eldar, the Uber-Ulthwéian, the Powerhouse of the Psychic Phase - it's only Eldrad Ulthran!

He's a magnificent dude and a great figure. I painted the new one already a while ago, but this is the first time I painted the original one. I was asked if I could paint him in a way that he was painted by the 'Eavy Metal team.

Not a huge problem (and I hope the quality is somewhat close), the only tricky part was figuring out which runes go on his bathrobe apart from the ones seen in that one photo seen. For reasons of keeping the mystery alive, I took no pictures from different angles either. :D
