Showcase: A Chihuahua in a Yellow Dress with a Sombrero and a Magic Wand.

 

And now for something different.

Well, three sizes thereof too! The largest one measuring 18cm (bottom of the base to top of the sombrero),the medium one 8cm, the small one (made for gaming, so 32mm "scale" ;-) ) is about 2cm, including the base. To make the backstory short - it's based on the dog owned by the gentleman who asked me to paint these and incorporates depictions of the dog's favourite toys. (disclaimer: The dog is alive and well. :-P)

An extremely interesting project for several reasons:
.) It had to be done very fast.
.) It had to be painted so it resembles an actual, specific dog (whom I actually met in person too).

.) Three very different sizes meant that they had to be painted in slightly different ways as to make them look the same, but different-sized. Very good showcase of how different sizes of figures require different approaches.
.) Loads of fun with various shades of pink!
