Heyhey, here's something I painted a while ago already. It's the Marvel Crisis Protocol Hulkbuster, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver.
So, that Scarlet Witch is one of the most insane models I ever had in hand (and if you remember correctly, I painted all the Dark Souls bosses and own a Kingdom Death model or two. Not to mention the cute Chihuahua). All that spell effect stuff around her, along with the wobbliness it leads to, was rather interesting. Funnily enough, the fact that she's red all over didn't bother me much. Fun times to play around with different surfaces and so on. Also, painting red is cool.
Quicksilver is as straightforward as you can get on a superhero figure, I think.
Even though I'm a huge fan of course (of everything, really), I didn't know the first thing about Quicksilver. So I had to look up an interesting fact about him on the internet. Apparently his nephew can run really fast too, and - probably to reflect that fact - he's called Speed.
Now let's proceed to the big, big, biiiiiig elephant in the room - the hulkbuster armour.
If you hand me a big robot I'll usually try to make it shiny and blue. This one's supposed to be red and gold, which is okay with me, as long as I get to make it shiny. Almost made me go insane, but in the end it was worth it, because it looks rather delicious, if I may say so myself.
I love a big, shiny robot suit. Hope you like it as well!
P.S.: A fun little picture of a bit of a dream match there:
